Westbury Arts Centre is delighted to welcome two new trustees to its Board, Dr Ruth Cribb and Joe Little.
Ruth Cribb brings to the Board extensive experience in the museum and arts sector including roles at the British Museum and the Roald Dahl Museum and Story Centre. She is a former trustee of the Ditchling Museum of Art + Craft and completed a PhD on early twentieth century artistic practices in 2013. Ruth’s expertise includes project and programme management, strategic planning and curatorial and collections management.
Joe Little, a resident artist since 2015 at Westbury Arts Centre with a specialism in fine art, will contribute his expertise in leadership in multi-stakeholder organisations.
Joe is an acknowledged expert on sustainability in the fashion industry. He currently works for Tesco as Head of Technical: Raw Materials & Colour, Packaging and Sustainability and advises the UK government and industry bodies on sustainable fashion. He won a Jaegar scholarship to study Textiles and Clothing at Heriot-Watt University.
David Harbey, Chair of Westbury Arts Centre, said: “I am delighted that Ruth and Joe are joining the Board of Westbury Arts Centre at this key juncture when Westbury is renewing its focus on delivering as a creative hub for the communities of Milton Keynes. The skills, experience, and networks that Ruth and Joe bring will be invaluable for the next stages in the evolution of Westbury Arts Centre.”
