Joanna grew up in Leighton Buzzard, Bedfordshire, and now lives in Heath and Reach.

Having gained a BA Honours Degree in Fine Art from Loughborough and a post-graduate Art Teacher’s Certificate from Goldsmiths 1976 -1980, she has continued to make art and teach ever since. Joanna runs classes locally, including Portraiture, Life Drawing and Beginners Painting here at W.A.C.

Over the last 27 years Joanna has exhibited in solo and group shows at Leighton, Luton, Dunstable and Bedford libraries, Bromham Mill, AIM Gallery CMK, The Golden Hare in Ampthill, Moat Farm Gallery in Stoke Hammond, Woburn Abbey, the Eagle Gallery in Bedford and Westbury Arts Centre.
